    Can I add affiliate tracking code into my JotForm to track sales?

    Asked by 24hourtrading on June 19, 2012 at 09:16 AM

    Hi,

    We have an affiliate program, and a sales based JotForm. Is it possible to add our sales tracking code into the "sale complete" section of JotForm?

    Hi;

    We have finally a release to integration with Salesforce:

    You can now integrate JotForm forms with Salesforce. You can even map form fields with your Salesforce lead/contact fields.

    I hope this will meet your expectations.

    Hi,

    I just realised that you can edit the Thank You page (it wasn't obvious until I was into the Embed options when it popped up) - as this allows me to post custom HTML, it appears as though we can lock off the affiliate "Sale" here, and attricbute customer A with affiliate X.

    Is it possible to pass parameters to the Thank You page, such as unique user number, or a sale amount?

    Hi

    Yes, you can post your submission data to the Thank you page , and then do some web programming using your own server side language such as  PHP (recommended one)

    Take a look at this guide , where submission data is posted and inserted into a MySql database using php

    Best regards

    Jeanette

    Thanks Jeanette,

    I'll have a go through that, as it looks as though we can get this to play with our DB direct, which will work for a lot of our forms. I have a feeling we'll be up to the 1 million per month account in the not-too-distant future as there's a few project this will integrate nicely with.

    For the Aff program, I'm confident I can pass the form ID back to the affiliate network using their (PHP) code, so we're good to go on that front (subject to testing).

    Thanks for your answers - it really helps to know where to look as there's a lot of info everywhere in your site!

    Is it safe to assume that Salesforce is still the only affiliate program solution Jotform integrates with? I've been looking at the Salesforce page, and I can't tell which option I'd need to be able to offer an affililate program. So wanted to make sure if I had other options/choices before I look too much further.

    Thanks!

    @singlewahm

    Hi,

    There are other integrations you can apply in the form. You can check them from here

    You should create a new post for your inquiries.

    Thanks.
