What happened to the credit cards numbers?

In previous years we've used your service for our summer camp registrations with no issues but this year we cannot see the credit card numbers - only the beginning and end.  What can I do to see the CC numbers so I can process payments?  

Please be aware that this is illegal because it's considered a phishing activity, which violates our terms of use. Card number, expiration date, security codes and card holder name are considered critical information.  The only services allowed to collect  such data are those that are DSS/PCI certified.

We are not a PCI certified provider, however we are now PCI DSS Level 2 Compliant Service Provider, which means we provide with payment integrations that allow users to connect to 3rd party payment gateways in a secure and encrypted way. For that reason, we had to implement a script to replace credit card numbers with hash symbols

In light of this, it is a must to take any of the following options:

1. Integrate your form with any of our Payment integrations.  

2. You can take advantage of a feature inside of most of our payment integrations called "Authorization Only" which allows you to collect payments manually at a later time. Here is a more detailed guide on how to do this: https://www.jotform.com/help/292-How-to-Enable-Payment-Authorization

 

Also, please remove these fields and implement any of our available payment gateways.

Apologies for the inconvenience. 

However, as explained above by our manager, this goes against our terms and this is why your credit card numbers are not showing now, this is to avoid phishers to still keep collecting payment info through plain text fields, keeping those fields will end up in your account being suspended due to violation of terms. 

If you need to ask for payment info you must use one of our existing payment integrations as advised above. 

 

Credit card info has been removed from our form as requested in your previous email. I only wish this new policy (this is third year we've use you and the first that this policy has effected us) had been explained to us before we opened registrations through your site. Your payment integration don't work for us.
