Set payment field required by default.

Currently the default setting for the payment module is required=off. It would seem that in most cases this component should be required and therefore the default would be required=on.

Is there a specific reason why the default is required=off?

Are you referring to the required property? 

I have checked and none of the fields is required when they're added to the form, you could easily change this in the field properties and set them as required, including payment fields: 

However, let us know if this is what you're referring to, if you would like the payment field to be required by default when added to the form just let us know and we will forward this thread as a feature request.
