Date Picket Widget

Is there a setting that would permit our end user to erase the date once they enter it?

Example:  User picked date in error

Can it be removed?

I checked the Date Picker Widget and I noticed that it doesn't have an option to erase the chosen date. If you want the user to be able to erase the date once they entered it, you can use the Mini Date Widget instead or a Date Picker from the basic field.
