Wondering about the free plan - is 10 payments per month or ever?

On your pricing page for payments it says - Receive 10 Payments

does that mean 10 payments per month or is that the total payments ever?

For free user, there is a limit of 10 payment submissions per month. The limit will be reset back to 0 every first day of the month. Please check our pricing guide for more information: https://www.jotform.com/pricing/
