Counter incorrect

    The counter of the "Friday Evening" class is out. Reads 163 and should read 161. Please could you check to see why that is.

    If the Appointment slot widget is not showing the correct count. Can you please try to update the widget on your form and see if this solves the issue? 

    If issue still persists, do get us back.

    I checked your form and the appointment widget for "Friday Evening" shows 159 available. 

     

    If you have the submission for this form and "Friday Evening" was selected, it should decrease the number of the available slots. I have already clear your form's cache. Can you please check your form's submissions and see if the widget is now working?

    I do not think you understand the issue. I am not a new user and have not encountered this problem before. Widget still not working. Here is the issue again:

    The counter is set for 250. The widget reads 159 but the submissions total 93. Therefore the widget should read 157. This is an active form so the numbers can change but it is always 2 out. I need to correct this so based on above figures the widget reads 157.

    Wondering if this is the problem. Basically I had to take a person out of course 308 and put her in 3051 and 305A. The counters were fine on 3051 and 305A, however, the counter on 308 was at 9 and should have gone back up to 10, instead went to 8.

    If you delete a submission, it does not add more spots back to the counter.  The count should be reduced by 1 each time the selection is made and will not go up again if the submission is deleted.

    The easiest thing to do would be change the total number available to account for the extra 2.  Either raise or lower the total available depending on what you need.

    What exactly do you need the developers to build into the appointments widget? The widget is working fine, we have not received any other reports.

    If the widget is consistently 2 out. Please apply the suggestion provided by my colleague, that would be the simplest way to arrange the ones available according to the number of submission you have received.

    Yes we are doing that. The widget is working fine so long as an option is not changed. I just feel the widget can be improved.

    It would be more intuitive if the widget would reduce the counter numbers when a course is deleted from a registration. This is definitely something that happens when people have the chose of classes offered at the same time i.e. change from class option 1 to class option 2.

    If there is a scenario where they have chosen a class offered at the same time and they have changed from the class option, you can just manually change the total number available. Appointment Slots only reduce the number of each selected slots whenever the form is submitted. This would not add more slots to the widget when you have deleted the submission.
