If we use dropbox, would file views be limited on the back side?

The one area that can benefit when using Dropbox integration is the Upload space usage. If your form submission upload is sending also to Dropbox, you can delete/remove the uploaded file copy in your form submission data. This process will free up your Upload storage used.
