I do not receive E-mails of my submitted forms

Asked by BEDAWI on June 21, 2012 at 08:50 PM

Please can you check why our contact form http://form.myjotform.com/form/21353550718552 does not get send to my e-mail address contactus@bedawi.com?

It is placed as 'How to get in touch with us' - under an image - on this webpage:  http://www.bedawi.com/Contact_en.html

I have the same problem with our booking form http://form.myjotform.com/form/21353550718552 which is placed on our webpage http://www.bedawi.com/Booking_EN.html except here I embedded the form on the webpage.

I hope you can get back to us a.s.a.p. as this is damaging our business which we desperately need as we live in Egypt and due to the current situation in our country, the tourism business is down already and many families depend on our work for their income.

Our thanks in advance and looking forward to hear from you.

I forgot to add, that I have tested the E-mails and this works fine, but when people submit through the website I do not get a notification in my mailbox but the customers do get their automatic reply.

    Hi Rayya

Please do the following and let us know if it helps:

    1. Change the Sender E-mail in the notification of each form to noreply@jotform.com. (You can always put the {tag} for the email field in the Subject of the Compose Email section of the notification.)

    2. Whitelist JotMail IPs

Incidentally, both conditions are unnecessary and may be safely deleted because the fields to which they are attached are set to "Required" and as such must be filled in order for the forms to be submitted.

Oh I forgot to mention that it may be better to embed the form at the second site via an iFrame to avoid any possible conflict with other scripts on the page.

Please see Which Form Embed Method Should I Use for additional info.

    Hi Wayne,

I followed all your instructions and changed the sender E-mail to noreply@jotform.com, deleted the conditions and embedded the second form via iFrame.

I am really grateful for your quick response.

    Best regards, Rayya
