    Disable redundant data in database

Asked by macromac on June 21, 2012 at 09:17 PM

I've created a submit form where users submit their details and their data will be insert into Jotform database. However the SAME user can submit their SAME details and still will be insert into Jotform database. From there when I checked the database, there is redundant data in it.

Is it possible to do a setting on the form where user can only submit their details once and cannot submit again? Thanks in advance.

While our system cannot currently check for duplicate data, you can set either a strict or loose check on the form. For details, please see What does Unique Submission Mean? in the Advanced Features section of our user guide.
