Embedding Form into Joomla 1.5 site?

Asked by wellnessqpon on January 01, 2011 at 03:10 PM

I followed your online instructions for embedding my form into a Joomla website.  I was able to copy and past into the HTML area.  However, when I saved the data, the joomla site either erased or changed the code I had pasted from jotform.

Do you have any suggestions for how to fix this problem?  Thank you kindly and I love your service!   Hoping to upgrade when my website is complete.

    Best, Alina

I'm glad to hear that. Do you have a link to the forum page that has worked for you? So, the entry on our User Guide did not work, but an answer on the forum work. If you can send me the URL for the correct documentation, I can update our User Guide.

    Thanks and Happy New Year!

    Just for anyone's information:

Some editors in Joomla are not handling 3 party scripts well when they are copied into the HTML area.

If you encounter problems, i suggest you install the new (free) CKEditor which handels this like a breeze!

I believe this is the link to the forum answer that helped me...

Basically, it simply involved installing the Jumi joomla extension.

We have two documents on the User Guides for Joomla:

    1. How to add a form to a Joomla content page

    2. How to add a feedback button to Joomla site

I hope one of them helps.
