Adding a HIdden Field to a Facebook Form

Asked by vesperent on June 22, 2012 at 08:34 AM

    Hi,

I'm using a guest list form on our site and we wanted to use this form on our Facebook page also. So instead of using two forms to see where the conversions are coming from, I thought I'd use a hidden field, but I'm having trouble working out how to do it.

    This is the form:

    http://form.jotformeu.com/form/21646075685360

    This is the iFrame code:

    <iframe allowtransparency="true" src="//form.jotformeu.com/form/21646075685360" frameborder="0" style="width:100%; height:1030px; border:none;" scrolling="no"></iframe>

What and where do I need to add to the iFrame code form for it to tell me that conversions are coming from Facebook?

    Thank you in advance!

    Andrew

    Hi Andrew,

Just append this at the last part of your form URL ?conversionSource16=facebook. Example:

    http://www.jotformeu.com/form/21646075685360?conversionSource16=facebook

Just do the same on your iframe code:

    <iframe allowtransparency="true" src="//www.jotformeu.com/form/21646075685360?conversionSource16=facebook" frameborder="0" style="width:100%; height:1030px; border:none;" scrolling="no"></iframe>

We also have a guide related on this: http://www.jotform.com/help/84-How-to-Use-a-Single-Form-in-Multiple-Sites-and-Know-the-Site-From-Which-a-Submission-Came

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any further questions. Thank you.
