    Passing data between forms

Asked by stevenco on March 13, 2017 at 08:06 PM

If create multipe forms that have common information such as Name, Address, Phone, Email, is there a way to pass the information to the next form.

Example, I have 10-15 different forms that somone needs to fill in over the course of a month.  They may fill in 2-4 of them at time.  The forms will have different questions and will get emailed to different people.  However, they will all have some data that is the same, such as Name, Address, Phone, Email, Submitted Name, Submitted Email Address and a couple other field.

If somone completes oen form and then opens another form that contains the same fields, can any of the same fields be pre-populated?

You should be able to create the multi-step form workflow connect them to one another.

To connect them each to one another after submission you can do this via this guide here https://www.jotform.com/help/38-Redirecting-Users-to-a-Different-Page.

As for the population of one form to another from form2 to form3 please see https://www.jotform.com/help/71-Prepopulating-fields-to-your-JotForm-via-URL-parameters.

    Hope this helps.
