Automated Form Options Reduction

Hi there

I have created a form where people book choir free taster session evenings. I have to preset these dates at the start of each ten week period in a dropdown box. Is there any such widgest I could use instead of the existing one which would remove past date options I have set, leaving just upcoming date options for booking?

It seems to me that you want to set up your form to allow a chosen date to be used to book choir based sessions with a way to prevent past dates from being used.

Please check out our Date Reservation Widget which has an option to disable past dates that you may find useful for doing such.

Having looked into this I don't think it is suitable for me because all this does is display an open calendar of dates and my choir sessions are on fixed dates which I need to predefine in a drop down menu. I don't think this date picker can do that?

Yes, that is correct and I do apologize.

We have several other date widgets that might be of interest.

I think since you wish to keep this predefined perhaps it may be better to use either the default time date field and under the settings you can control which dates are shown or disabled.

Alternatively, there is also the option of using the checkboxes with our Appointment Slot Widget which you could list your specified dates to hide certain sets if a condition for a past date is not met and that would switch it over.

One other thought would be to use the field as you have it now but set up a field above it so that if the current date isn't a certain date then it would show more recent ones and disable the past drop down list. This would use conditions as well.
