    Auto Responder: First name, from full name tag

    Asked by Hikertrash on June 22, 2012 at 02:44 PM

    Hi,

    I can't thank you enough for making this feature possible.  It works flawlessly, however is it possible to on import the first name name only?

    On my form I use "Full Name" from quick tools {fullName5} .   I tried {#first_5} with, and without the #, and {first5} but mome of those worked.

    Thanks again.

    You can use a text box for each first and last name ,  instead of the predisigned full name field (which includes both) , this way you will be able to setup the autoresponder with just the name on the salutation

    Cheers!

    @Hikertrash

    Just for informational purposes, if you're referring to the "Full Name" variable tag in email alerts, there's an alternative solution. Please see this thread for details. Both Jeanette's solution and mine would work just fine.
