Within a table are you able to merge fields and change the input property?

I have a table within my Family History form and I want to add a row with an Other and allow a text box to be placed in that row...  It seems like the table properties control the whole table - I only want one row to be displayed differently.  Any ideas????

I would like to apologize, however, the Input Table field (Matrix Table) is not built to work that way. I'm afraid you can only choose one input type for the whole table. However, if you will be embedding your form to a website, using the form's full source code and editing the codes/scripts (may require you to hire a developer for this) might work.
