When using the Masked Input widget, calculated results cannot be populated in the widget field.

I have three fields, Quantity, Item Value and Total value.

I tried using the "Masked Input" widget for both the value fields so I can mask the input with commas, a decimal, cents and a dollar sign.

Then I set up conditional rules to calculate the total value.

I can only get this to work when the "Total Value" field is a plain Small Text type field.  If I use the "Masked Widget" type field for the results of the calculation, then no results are displayed.

It seems that the conditional rule that calculates the total value is unable to place the results of the calculation into the Masked Input field.

This is a problem for me becasue I need the total value to display as $2.50 instead of 2.5.  Other uses of input masks fail to meet this requirement.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

It is possible to get the value that you want to display using the Short Text Entry field (textbox field).

You can format the output of the calculation in the condition to make it display $2.50 just like in your example.

    Here's how:

    As for the result:

I hope this helps. If you need any further assistance, please feel free to contact us again anytime.
