How to add variable data included in calculating final total?

I have successfully created a payment form using the Products check boxes but is it possible to add another option that allows a variable value to be manually entered which will be included in the final total?

Unfortunately, there is no direct way of adding a variable value in the products of a payment field. However, you may consider adding a new product at price of £1 with quantity option so that the number entered can be used as the variable value.
