    Uploaded file is missing

    Dear support,

     

    Most of the files were not attached on the form. Is there any bug from your end?

    Are you referring to this form http://www.jotformeu.com/form/62385071888366? The issue you are having is about the uploaded file of the form? I cloned the form and tested on my end and it seems that the upload fields are working fine. Even on the Email Notifications that I receive, the files were properly attached.

     

    Please try and test again if you will still encounter the issue. If you are referring to a different concern, please provide us more details so we can further investigate.

    Are files that are uploaded on your form not attracted inside of email Notification that is sent to you when form is submitted?

    I have inspected form that you provided and you have two email Notifications. However Send Uploads as Attachment option is set to NO in both of them.

    If you want to receive upload files as attachments inside of email Notification you need to set Send Uploads as Attachment option is set to YES.

    I have also checked submission page of your form and I was able to see all uploaded files.

    Ok thank you, I've changed those settings so hopefully that will fix the
    issue.
    Edel please let me know if you still have issues with the excel sheets
    coming through. Next time you have an issue can you please screen shot the
    error message you get so that we can explain further to Jot form.

    Hi,
    Here's another form which failed to upload the Side image file.
    See below.
    Can someone please respond to let us know if this issue can be fixed as it
    happens all the time now and I'm afraid we'll need to find an alternative
    service if its not something that you can fix.

    Below is an example of the issue we keep having. The file 'Record of
    measurement sheet' doesn't attach. This is just an excel file that all
    customers send in. Some work, some dont.

    It seems that the image attached via email did not reach the JotForm Forum. For us to properly view the attached image, please open this thread: https://www.jotform.com/answers/1094356 on a browser and upload the image by following this guide: How to add screenshots/images to questions to the support forum?

    I checked the reported submission of the form (https://eu.jotform.com/submission/365960588479841324) and it seems that the file is missing: https://eu.jotform.com/uploads/kimloy/62385071888366/365960588479841324/Side%20-%20week%200.JPG. When I try to access/download the image, I was able to encounter the error.

     

     

    I will have to escalate the issue to our development team for further investigation. We will inform you on this thread any updates to the issue.

    Ok thank you. When you escalate to the development team please let them
    know that the file selection is random, jpg, excel, pdf it doesn't matter,
    sometimes the files no matter what it is doesn't come through.

    Hello Kim,

    Sometimes an intermittent internet connection between the user and the website may prematurely terminate the transfer of files. But this happens very seldom. However this is not the exact case that's happening so we cannot tell exactly what's going on at the moment with your form submission.

    For the meantime and for such instance, I would recommend to communicate with the person who made the submission and ask from him for the missing files.

    We'll inform you once we have developments over this matter, and we sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.
