Ability to use symbols in the masked input textbox fieldAsked by standon391 on March 17, 2017 at 06:04 PM
I have a mask set up right now that is ####-@@@-####
but i would like it to be ####-@(letter or -)@-####
Unfortunately, the input mask allows entering only alphabets or numbers. Let me forward the thread to our backend team as a feature request for evaluation. I cannot guarantee that the feature will be implemented or cannot provide any time frame at the moment. However, if there is any update in this regard, you'll be posted here.
As a workaround, if you are having both formats to be used, you may consider having two input fields with both formats and let the user select the required format. You may display the example using a radio button and based on the selection, you may hide the input by setting up a condition.
Hope this information helps!
