    Time zone settings in relation to submissions: The taking effect of US DST on March 12 affected the submissions' submission date even if the account t

    Hi Guys,  This is a bit hard to explain so please bear with me. 

    Right now (after Mar 12) if I download submissions that came before Mar 12 the time on the submission date is wrong by exactly one hour.   I have checked data right back to January and this anomaly is present for all submissions

    I would have expected that the date and time of each submission would have been stored at the time of submission and not changed at a later date, so I am assuming that it is the display of the date that is wrong.  But that translates to incorrect data being downloaded and the custom time frame is also giving incorrect results.

    Normally the actual hour the submission occurred isn't important, but due to when I downloaded the data, one of the submissions was missed and that is how I found out about the changes.

    On the 10th I downloaded the data for the 9th to process and got 21 submissions, but I didn't download the 10th's submissions until the 13th (Mon) and by this time the hour had been taken off and a submission at 12:28am on the 10th now read as 11:28pm on the 9th and therefore was not included.  But of course why would I go back and re-download the 9th again.  However when I did do that there are now 22 submissions.

    I will included the two lots of downloads, I have copied the submission date into a new column to show the actual number.  The column marked "Today is" is a date field on the form.

    Is it possible to get the actual submission date data - not the display, but the real data - when downloading, maybe in a separate field.

    Hello,

    The submission date reflects based on the time zone settings of the account. But on March 12, the DST took effect on US which changed the time by an hour difference. For some reason, this changed the change affected yours as well. But as I checked your account's settings, it is set to Brisbane. If I am correct, Brisbane do not observe DST.

    Let me escalate this matter to the development team verify with them a possibility to address this and make the time zone compliant on world time zones. We'll inform you as soon as possible once we have updates.

    Yes you are correct Brisbane does not observe DST, but also it is not in the US.  Other states in Australia are still in summer time DST and won't be moving back to normal till sometime in April.
