Constant Contact Integration: Can I map a field to a mailing list?

  • pdiehl
Asked on March 18, 2017 at 2:36 PM
Using the Jotform logic feature shown below, can I redirect my user response back to my EMAIL LIST with Constant Contact?
My goal is to have a “Request for Quote” form for my potential customers and based on the users choice & interest, I would like to have the completed form submitted to a specific list within my Constant Contact email provider - in hopes of an auto responder with the follow-up quote sheet?
Do you think this is possible?

    Hello Patrick,

If what you mean by redirecting your user response back to your email list is that the submission will go to your Constant Contact list, we have an integration with Constant Contact which will make your submissions send to your list there. You can check this guide for more information on how to integrate your form with Constant Contact: https://www.jotform.com/help/386-How-to-Integrate-Form-with-Constant-Contact

If this is not what you mean, please let us know.

    Thanks.

    Thank You Liyam!!!
That is exactly my question and what I want.
There is still one thing I don’t understand.
When I am editing my jotform in Settings/Interations 3rd party features…. under “Choose a List”, it only gives me one email list choice to choose.
My wish is that once the recipient chooses 1 of the 3 options within the form, the Request a Free Quote form is submitted to one of the 3 email list.
Here is a copy of my form.
    https://form.jotform.us/70467419971163
As you will see in the form, the choices were built using “Single Choice” in the Add Form Element area.
Should I be using a Dropdown feature in the form instead?
I hope I am explaining my question properly.
Let me know if you have any suggestions on how to have my jot form submitted to 1 of 3 email list choices within Constant Contact.
Thanks again for all your help.

    Hello Patrick,

Thank you for the clarification. Unfortunately, part of the integration process is explicitly choosing a list where all submissions will go to and there is no option to connect the field into the integration for selecting mailing lists.

The other alternative solution that I could think of for this is having to create identical forms but being integrated to different mailing lists and then redirecting the user depending on the preference he chooses.

But let me escalated this to the development team for feature request. However, I cannot guarantee that there is probability for this feature to happen. But in any case, should we have updates, we'll inform you right away.

    Thanks and warm regards.

    Thank you so much Liyam!
I genuinely appreciate your suggestion and also passing my wishes to your development team.
Having 3 separate forms may be a bit much within a email campaign, but I do appreciate the idea!
Please keep me updated if there is anything the develop team comes up with.
I realize this probably will take sometime, but it would be really nice.
    Think about it...
If my Jotform went back to the proper email list (within Constant Contact), I could have an auto-reponse back to the recipient with the right quote for their particular choice.
All of that auto-response could be pre-set and done automatically… that’d be nice, right?
Anyway, thanks again for your prompt and courteous help.

    Hello Patrick,

On behalf of my colleague, you are welcome. My colleague have already created a feature request ticket and forwarded it to our backend team. Unfortunately we cannot provide an ETA on this but we will get back to you as soon as we have any update from them.

    Thank you!

    Ashwin,
As a follow up to our recent correspondence, I wanted to let you know that created another Jotform and assigned it to a Constant Contact email list.
I did a test today and it worked terrifically!!!!
I hope you guys and your backend team continue to try and create the ability to have a form - that would provide the recipient to choose multiple email list (within an integrated email provider).
I can’t tell you how nice it is to have a form (jotform) that a recipient completes… and then it generates a pre-made “auto response” such as a: quote, answer or ebook, etc.
Anyway, I enjoy working and using Jotforms… you guys are terrific!!!
BTW, here’s the simple form that I tested today and synced with Constant Contacts.

    Keep me posted.
    Many thanks,
