Seeking optional work around for no custom message option on disabled forms

Asked by swingrecruiter on June 25, 2012 at 11:31 AM

Hi. I am needing to disable a form, but because I can't customize the disabled message I am looking for a few work arounds. I cloned the form with the plan of deleting all the fields and just adding new directions in a text field, but of course realized that I would then alter my past submissions. Is there a way for me to hide all the fields? Any other options you can think of?

I don't know if I understood your inquiry correctly. You can easily disable your form and set message into the frame where the form was with some HTML code

If you wish to do that, simple go to your form builder main view, click on More  and click on Disable Form, as shown below

By doing that your form will no show in your page

However, you are probably willing to still SHOW your form into your website , but make it just readable? If so, you could just set a snapshot of it in your site

Like I said, it is still not clear for me still. At any rate, I hope my hints helps you t
