Autocompleted Address: How to get info submitted in different lines?Asked by CUF on March 20, 2017 at 09:52 AM
I'm trying to integrate the autocompleted address widget into my form (Great Get Together), but when it integrates with Google Sheets, it pastes the address all into one line, I need each part of the address on one line. I.e. House number line 1, Street line 2, Postcode line 3.
Is this possible?
I've tested the widget and I can see the submitted info displays in different lines, example:
Do note that the info cannot be separated in different lines, the info submitted in the widget will be displayed in the same column and row. If this is not what you're seeing on your end or you're referring to have the info displayed in different rows, please let us know.
You may also try reintegrating your form with Google Spreadsheet and see if it updates how the info is displayed.
Sorry to be more clear, I know it displays the information on separate lines, but I would like it to display the information in separate cells. I’m unable to import this information when it is contained in one cell. Usually, for example, street would be in column A, town column B, postcode column C etc. This way I’m able to import the information.
Hello there too 😊 I'm afraid all widgets, including the Autocompleted Address, are all treated as a single field. That's the reason why you're seeing it on a single cell.
The only way to separate them per cell is to use the default, built-in, Address Field instead of using this widget.
If you need more help, don't hesitate to let us know.
