    Large spaces between form fields

Asked by rosspollock on June 26, 2012 at 10:41 AM

    Hi there,

I have a query regarding how to get rid of the huge line spaces between my form fields. Is this possible? As you can see from my attached screen shot and URL link, it is knocking out the alignment with the rest of the page content. Not only that but because it was spacedout to such a degree, it make the form extend quite far down the page than is necessary.

Would this be a feature you are looking to add in the future? It would be fantastic to be able to be to adjust spacing between each field and line.

    Regards

    Ross Pollock

You can easily adjust the distance between questions.

Go to Setup & Embed > Preferences > Field Styles > and adjust the 'Questions Spacing' to a lower number.

Smallest number is 1. Zero will have no effect.

Great tip thanks! Is there a way to decrease the space around the title boxes? As you can see there is a whopper at the very top and below the title.

EDIT: Just noticed that the question spacing is already set a 0 which is still quite large and entering -5 etc... doesn't have any effect.

    Hi,

Can you please try to re-embed your form code into your website using iFrame to solve the issue?

    Thank you!

Hi there, tried that but all I got was a rather spiffy looking horizontal scroll bar at the bottom. no change in the line spacing im afraid.

Can you please try it again then delete your browser cache and cookies after re-embeding your form code into your website?

No joy I'm afraid. It is just replacating the view of the form from my templates which is working perfectly well apart from not being able to edit the line spacing any smaller than what it currently is.

The smallest number you can assign on Question Spacing is 1. Zero will have no effect on it.

Go to Setup & Embed > Preferences > Field Styles > and adjust the 'Questions Spacing' to 1.
