Not able to customize formatting and colors of google spreadsheet

Is it impossible to change the spreadsheet formatting/colors with this integration? Whenever a new report comes it it gets changed.

You are correct. It is not possible to customize the Submission sheet that was being used by the Google spreadsheet integration of the form.

What you may want to try instead is to use another Sheet on the spreadsheet.

You can customize the other sheet (aside the Submission sheet). You can import/copy the data from the Submission sheet into the sheet you need to add formatting.

Use the google docs import function to copy the data from Submission sheet to another sheet.
