    Hello

This form is not displaying properly when the link is clicked:  https://eu.jotform.com//?formID=70316679059363

Only the form title and logo are appearing as in the screenshot

The form is still there in full in the editor mode but the form does not appear in full when you click “preview”.

Please can someone help.  This is quite urgent.

    Thanks

    Michael Reade

    Dear Michael,

This issue is caused by the Form Separator Widget you have included in the form. Please consider to remove all Form Separator, you may go ahead to replace them by adding a page break instead:

If you have additional questions, please let us know.

    Kindest Regards.

    Thanks you.

I have removed all the Form Seperators from the form and it is now displaying properly.

    However:

    1.  If the Form Seperator is creating this problem, I don't think Jotform should be offering this feature if it produces a problem like this.  I'm just glad I that I checked the form today and saw that it wasnt displaying properly.  It was display perfectly when I first created the form a few weeks ago so thought it was working fine. This could have been a huge problem if the form was not availlable for people to submit their grant applications.

    2. Should I (and other users) remove Form Seperators from all the forms that I have created?

    3. Is there an alternative to Form Seperator?  It's really useful to have a line to split up a form.  The page break feature won't work for me as I need submitters to be able to see the form all in one go rather than click through different pages.

    Thanks,  Michael

We apologize for any inconvenience caused. I think the issue with the Separator widget was temporary glitch.

I test a clone form with Separator widget on it, but I could not replicate the issue you mentioned/described originally.

You can check my test form https://form.jotformpro.com/70807863534967 as well.

Since you have already removed the Separator widget on your form, I could not test and review the glitch from previous form setup.

May I suggest you put back again the Separator widget on your form https://www.jotformeu.com/form/70316679059363

We will test and review the form with the Separator widget. It will help us identify the cause of the glitch and fix it.

We will wait for your updated response.

    Hi Jonathan

I have removed the Separator widget as suggested by your colleague (Aury).  I’ve also removed it from my others forms that are live.

I really don’t won’t to restore the Separator and risk the same problem occurring again.

This could have been a real disaster for me if I had not spotted it (purely by chance) in time.  Quite possibly, almost 100 academics would not have been able to submit their grant applications.

When I first set up the form with the Separator it was fine but then for some reason this problem occurred.

Is there an alternative to Separator?

    Best

    Michael

    Hi Aury
This have solved the problem. I’ve removed the Separator from all my forms. This is really worrying that a widget can stop a form from working. I was lucky that I spotted this in time otherwise this would have been a huge problem for me.

    Jonathan

I used the Separator in this form:  https://form.jotformeu.com/63394810524355

This form is no longer live but I did not encounter any problems.   So perhaps you could use that.

    Best,  Michael

    Hi Michael,

Please note that we had an issue with the Form Separators widget, and our developers have fixed it. Could you please try to use it again and see if everything works properly for you now?

Thank you in advance and apologies for the inconvenience.
