Unable to edit the shared form

I am attempting to edit a form for which I have been given editing permissions.  When I get in the form, it gives me about 30 seconds, then "resets" and kicks me out to the main form list (I have only one form on my lists).  It also does not save the one edit I have time to make....HELP!
