how can I create a voucher discount box for customers to enter codes for discounts?

Asked by greenPROclean on June 27, 2012 at 10:37 AM

    Hello,

I have created a service booking form on your site which I have planted on my site succesfully but I want to add a discount code box at the end so I can offer different promotions to customers who can then enter a code on making their booking, which will reduce the ammount accordingly for when they go through to paypal, ideally with it displaying as a visible reduction within the paypal portal also. is this possible? I have not published the site yet it is still in design through 123 reg

    many thanks

A "discount/promo code" feature has been asked too many times before. To my knowledge, it was already added to our developer's todo list but I am not sure about its priority level. We can't really give an exact nor approximate date as to when the said feature will be implemented as we are not privy to this information.

With that said, there are a few workarounds that can address your dilemma. All of these involve using our conditions system. However, JotForm's conditions system uses scripts that are visible on the form's source code.

This means that the 'promo code' workaround is not secure, as your customers   can simply view the form's source code (if they know  how to do it) then find out the 'promo code' to bypass payment.

If you are still willing to make use of existing workarounds, hit me up so I can give you some suggestions.
