Why did you freeze my account?

Asked by hodak2 on June 27, 2012 at 10:51 AM

It says my account was frozen or suspended because of suspected phishing activities.  I run a website, and on said website there is a contact me form.  It asks for name, email, and to leave a brief message.  I do not know in any way how this could be considered fishing?

On a side note, if you were going to disable someone's account, don't you think it might be nice to at least send them an e-mail and tell them that you are disabling it?

My form used to be found here:

    Hi,

Your account is being  auto-suspended due being suspected for phishing. I have checked your forms and there is a form (Create an Account) that has password field. This is against our terms of  service as we don't  support membership features (i.e login form).

I have now re-activated your account but forced to delete the password field in this form that is suspected for phishing (Login Forms). Kindly refrain from creating such forms as your account will be suspended.

    Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you.  I do not remember why I made that form, or if I used it for anything.  I will remember not to use that from now on as well.  Again thank you.
