How to make an avaliable/unavailable drop down list?

    Hi there,

We are a logistics company and we are trying to use jotform as our client interface. They will directly send us their orders through jotform, but sometimes the orders come so short-time notice and so dense, we could not fulfill them. I am wondering if jotform can have a widget that allows me to create a date and number dependent drop-down list.

For example, I created a drop down list that includes two option "9~10am", and "10~11am", and I limit the customer number for those time frame to be 1 because we can only one job in one hour.  Cutomer A and B all wants their goods to be delivered around 9~10am, but after customer A choose "9~10am", the option "9~10am" will turn grey since its no longer available, so customer B will chose "10~11am" instead, which can save us a lot of trouble.

In addition, a customer need to submit their form 3 days in advance in order for us to get his product out of our warehouse. So for instance, today is the 10th, and then when a customer chose a date, he can only chose a date that is after the 12th.

I hope you get the idea, and i will be appreciated if you guys can come up with an idea. Thank you very much for your time. And if that is not free, I am more then happy to pay for it.

    Cheers,

    LEO Lin

    Hello Leo,

Yes is possible to achieve your requirement but not with a dropdown field. I would suggest you to please take a look at our "Gift Registry" or "Quantity Gift Registry" widgets and see if that fits into your requirement. Once a user selects and item from the widget and submit form, the item will not longer be available for any other user.

    Hope this helps.

Do try it out and get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!
