It appears that using widgets do not allow you to use PDF for offline data collection (of that data). It also appears that you cannot pre-fill forms where part of the pre-populated data comes from a widget. I created multiple lines in our survey using widgets (to get multiple questions on one line). Can you confirm creating a pdf and pre-populating does not work with widgets? Also -- we would want a clerical person to pre-fill the form before the student finishes the survey --but steps to pre-fill each and every survey form (about 60 per day) does not appear to have an easy interface or steps for a non-technical clerical person to follow. Do you see any options?

Yes, most widgets will not work on a fillable PDF form. You also cannot pre-populate fields in the PDF form.
For more information about the fillable PDF form, please check this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/312-JotForm-Fillable-PDF-Creator-With-All-Points.
I created a separate thread for your other question. Please wait for my reply on this thread: https://www.jotform.com/answers/1103605.
If you have any questions, let us know. Thank you.
