    Hi

I am a newbie and hope someone can guide me in making the best form for this problem:

I would liketo collect data in a purchace form.

There are some different animals species, race, and prize. I would like to add. some text informations regarding those animals and be able to store those information so it can be processed in excel afterwards.

The user can select multiple animals.

    form:

    horsetype 1
    horsetype 2
    cowtype 1
    cowtype 2

Each have som information like: horsenr, name, race etc.

I started up with "purchace order", but how to byt textboxes in to each "product" i do not know.

    Best regards

    Carsten,

Unfortunately, there is no way to insert another field onto each product of the purchase order tool.

What you can do instead is to insert the textboxes after the purchase order, then have them display conditionally - meaning those textboxes will display only if the corresponding product is selected.

    Here's an example: http://form.jotform.me/form/21803064365449?

The form above uses conditional logic to show/hide the textboxes.

I think it is best to clone the said form to your account so you would be able to study how it works.

If you need further help, please let us know.

Looks like a goog idea. Have you used conditions? I'll make a clone and see if i can do the rest myself. I can post the result - or perhaps i'll write again when im stocked ;-)

    Thanks for now.

When using the conditions Wizard i can not make an if sentence on the amount. Like this:

Can the two forms be combined in any way?

Sadly, the purchase order tool's "Quantity" property cannot be used in a condition.

A workaround I can think of is to display a (quite redundant) quantity selector for each item in the purchase order section.

Then use that quantity selector in conditions to display matrixes that have an increasing number of lines. If the maximum amount in a purchase order item is 10, you will have to create 10 different matrixes for that item alone.

This can take a lot of work because if you have 4 items in your purchase order section, you will need to add 4 separate counters and [4 times the maximum amount in each item] number of matrix tables.

In my opinion, it would much easier and simpler to display a matrix table (Oplysninger om Heste) that contains lines numbering to the maximum amount, no matter what the chosen amount is.

Can the two forms be combined in any way?

Sorry but the answer is no.
