1) then 2 supervisors have to approve it...so I use the EDIT feature to let the two supervisors edit and approve of the submission... to distinguish the two levels of supervisors...I add a different hash to the end of the edit URL (eg. https://www.jotform.com/edit/{id}#manager & https://www.jotform.com/edit/{id}#endorser ) but when the supervisor submits his edit...it shows an ID error...is there another way to achieve this?2) another thing, I'm trying to update a different date field each time the form gets edited..while keeping the original realtime date field that the rest of the date fields copy from (through conditional calculation) HIDDEN...but it seems like when it's hidden, the other date fields can't copy its value. -

I'm not sure that that could work with hash at the end of the URL. Instead, I would suggest using the code that will reveal a part of a form for each supervisor.
You can also check this guide made by my colleague, it might help https://www.jotform.com/answers/742263-How-to-create-an-approval-workflow
Regarding the date when the form is edited, you can use our Get Form Page URL widget https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/get_form_page_url since then you can create a condition like this:
Could that work for you by any chance?

1) thanks..i found a simple way to do it luckily Jotform allows me to set up an edit submission link in the below format...it makes things simple...
http://submit.jotform.com/form.php?formID=xxxxxx&sid={id}&mode=edit#yyyyy
2) i created the same type of condition to update the date field..but it does't work if the source date field is hidden when we're in edit mode..so i decided to keep the source datefield visible at all times...
THANKS
