I do not understand what the "Calculation value" is. So if a person is voting on a choice of one and there are five choices, do I assign the calcuation value of "1" to each of the five?

Hello Jaime63,
It actually depends on your calculation requirement. If you have a five choices in a radio button question, you can assign same or different value to each of the option in radio button question. Please check the screenshot below on how to add calculation value and display the values conditionally:
Hope this helps.
Do get back to us if you have any questions.
Thank you!

Thank you for getting back to so quickly! So based on this, if a person voted Option 1, it would be worth 1 vote and if they voted Option 2, it would be worth 6 votes etc? If that is the case, I would only make each choice a 1 in surveying.
I have almost 70 single choice questions. Do I need to put a calculation field for each question or can I just put one at the bottom.

It depends on what you are trying to achieve and how you want to use value of each option.
One calculation field should be ok, if you want to output of all the calculation in one field at bottom.
Let us know if you have more questions.
