How can a user retrieve information submitted by a different user and update it?

I am using a form for researchers to send in information regarding products in market. If the product information changes I would like a researcher to be able to retrieve the information from the original submission and update what has changed rather than completely fill in a new blank form. Doing this from a confirmation email does not work for me as there are many hundreds of products across many researchers so they would not be able to find the email relating to the original submission.

Please advise if this is possible.

Each submission has a unique Edit Link. If you give that link to the another user, s/he can edit the submission of the others. For further detailed information related to Edit Link, please find this guide.

Thanks but this is completely impractical for what I need. Users would need to keep track of hundreds of edit links then look up the one they need and paste it into a browser. The whole point is to prevent users having to look things up

The user can just use filtering or search on their email inbox that will make the task of searching email records a lot easier. 

Currently there is no other way for the users to update existing submission data beside the Edit Link method my colleague had already suggested.

There is way to Share Submission page data but it does not have option to edit submission data. This to prevent unintended modification of data by the wrong user.

You can also assign a Sub User to forms that will allow the user to have update option on the submission data of the form. But this option is per sub account/user only and not all the users of the form.
