Passing an input field to a Text Field doesn't work

I followed the tutorial on how to add an input field into a text inside the form but in my form the text is not updating.

For instance when I want to copy the input name by selecting it from the "form fields" button, in the demo it simply types {name}, and its not updating even if I input the name in the "name" field.

This problem emerges with any form field I try to add to the text.

I checked this form 70537920529359 and although I found a couple of Text Fields, none of them shows any Unique Name being utilized to pass data from a form field.

We currently have a known issue with Text Fields not fetching the form fields via Unique Names in our V4 Form Builder. To give you an idea, here's the update we got from our Developers:

This minor feature is currently not working because the method was removed since it was causing problems and a new method has been developed. This issue has been identified and a solution has been found. It will be pushed to the live server under careful observation because of the problems it caused on previous instances.

So rest assured, our team is actively working on it but I'd still escalate your thread so they are aware of your issue. You will then be updated here once it's fixed.

For the meantime, if you wish to make changes on your own while waiting for the fix, here's what you need to do:

1. Load your form in our previous Form Builder (V3) using this link:

(where 1234567890 will be replaced by your form ID)

e.g. https://www.jotform.com/?formID=70537920529359 

2. Once the Form Builder is up, add your Text Field. It's important you create the Text Field from V3 (not in V4)

3. Make the necessary changes in V3 then save your form

4. Never make any further changes to the Text Field in V4

This is a cloned copy of your form where I added a Text Field on the 1st page and passed the email and name fields successfully by using the previous Form Builder (V3).
