Hello, I've recently learned about this feature in JotForm and I'm curious, can we use this to sell event tickets as an alternative to Showclix, for instance? Â Has anyone done this before? What is your recommendation to proceed to test this?
We use stripe and hate the fee's that come with your average ticketing partner, so I'd like to figure out a better solution that's just as secure. Our biggest concern is obviously fraud, but if we can print the purchasers information on the ticket, we can then "check off" buyers names when they give us their ticket. That way, if we see two tickets with John Smith but only one John Smith on the buyer form we're checking off when people give us their tickets - we know something is fishy.Â
Has this been done before? How would you suggest I do this?

I'm not quite familiar how the Showclix works but there is a possible workaround in JotForm if you want to sell event tickets.
First of all, please check out this widget:Â Ticket Purchases.
You can create an Order Form for your buyers to buy tickets from you. You can integrate your form with any Payment Processor to collect payments. Please see this guide on Setting Up Your First Order Form.
Then, you can also set up the Payment Field (PayPal Tool for example) via Form Calculation which would be done via the Custom Amount Field inside it. Please see this guide for more info:Â How to Pass a Calculation to a Payment Field
