Can I separate data that is entered inside Matrix Dynamique field to multiple rows inside of an Excel file?

    Hi JotForm,

Love your service and can't wait to get started. I created a great form (link below) and think it will meet my needs. However, in the Excel export, the rosters at the bottom are all being jumbled into a single sell. Is there a way I can create my form so that each new player will be in its own row? I can even create 16 roster spaces for coaches to fill if that is better. Just not sure how to do it.

I expect 44 coaches to fill this out for their teams. So even if one school populated 16 rows (address, phone, etc.) but then had player info in separate columns, I could manage the data better than I can with everything jumbled.

    Thanks,

    John

Unfortunately it is not possible to separate data that is entered inside of Matrix Dynamique field to separate rows inside of an Excel file. All data that is entered inside of Matrix Dynamique field will be inside of one row.

Considering that data that is entered inside of Matrix Dynamique field will only be saved when new row is added I cannot suggest you to add 16 Matrix Dynamique fields to your form.

Possible workaround would be to use Configurable list widget.

How to Set Up the Configurable List Widget

However all data that is entered inside of Configurable list widget will also be displayed inside of one row in Excel file.

However you can add 16 Configurable List Widgets to your form and you will have to set Minimal rows number and Maximal rows number options to 1. This way your users will not be able to add new rows.
