On page two, only one of the text elements are showing the typed in values from the first pages check box other options.

Looking at the screenshot, brick is working the others are not.

Just to clarify, you would like in "other" on the first page, to show in the text field in the second page? This can be done using conditional logic, you will need to create a condition to update the value of the text field, with the value from the first page.

In order to achieve that, Select the UPDATE / CALCULATE FIELD option from the conditions menu, an example would look like this:

    Thank you.

No. I mean the labels, which are simple text.

The first one in the screen shot is correct:

         Brick - TEST - Type the Equipment/Control

    The rest are not showing.

I don't think that is possible. You need to use the actual field name, without the "other" in it.

That was how I was instructed by support to accomplish it, and I would like to draw you attention to the fact it IS WORKING for brick.  The word TEST in my example came from the first page of the form.

I'm not sure how it worked on your brick field, but the correct way to use it is to remove the other tag. It is actually not necessary. You can just use the field variable directly without the other tag because this picks all the selected options including the other field.

    Example:

Checkbox: ability to use other value in text element Image 1 Screenshot 30

    Result:

Checkbox: ability to use other value in text element Image 2 Screenshot 41

but when they select multiple options it adds them as a comma separated list right? I don't want that. I checked and unfortunately it is listing all the selected options, it wasn't before. I have added a link to a previous forum post where another support person was telling me something different.

His example is not working, I am sure it was before. So what are my options to accomplish this? I am sure there is a way.

    Hello,

There was an update on the variable usage in the Text Fields. I think this caused the issue you have right now. In fact, you can't select the other option from a checkbox on newly created forms. I investigated the issue further but I couldn't find a solution.

If you want, we can open a feature request for selecting the other option from checkboxes. However, I can't give you an ETA for this feature.

Please request here if you want this as a feature in the future. Thank you very much.

Yes I would like to request the functionality you are saying was removed with an update. Wouldn't that technically be called a downdate?

I have created a feature request to our development team, and they will review your request. You'll be updated via this thread if there's any progress.

    Thank you.
