Can I load form pages into different webpages when the next button is clicked?

Asked by stevetomkins on April 11, 2017 at 02:27 PM

I have a form with 2 pages.  When the next button is clicked on page 1 to take you to page 2, I would also like it to load page into a new webpage, For example,

Webpage name: first.htm loads the form

The first page of the form is completed and the 'next' button is clicked'

A new page called second.htm loads and displays page 2 of the form.

The multiple page form will not work like that. It will not be able to change URL page using the Next button only. Even though it has  multiple pages, the form is still a single form (i.e. every thing is within the <form> </form> tag).

What you may want to try to achieve your idea is to use 2 forms instead. The forms will be located on the 2 website pages.

You can redirect the URL to the 2nd page after submitting the 1st form.
