Create an estimate from options chosen in form

Hello! I'm trying to set up this form to act as a way to give potential clients a rough estimate once they've chosen the items they want. Like if they want a patio and add a firepit and pergola to it, I want the assigned prices (that they can't see) to add up to a rough estimate so they at least know a ballpark price. What would be the best way to do this?

I understand that you want to provide an estimated amount on the form to the user based on the selections made. If so, it is possible by assigning calculation values to the fields on the form. I have cloned your JotForm and see that there are several single and multiple choice fields to select the options. You may assign calculation values to each option in the field so that they can be used for calculation. Please refer to the guide below that can help you with assigning calculation values to the fields and performing calculations on the form.

Hope this information helps! Please give it a try and let us know if you need any further assistance. We will be happy to assist.

I think that just may work! Thank you so much!

    I will give it a shot :)

    That worked, thank you!

I have a new question now, though.

Once I get it to add the numbers from multiple fields, is there a way to get the form to funnel those numbers into a range so the client doesn't see the exact number? Like if they choose a $10,000 patio, plus a $5000 fence, plus a $500 plant project, I want the form to show "Your project falls in the range of 10,000-20,000" instead of showing the $15,500.

    Thank you

Great! Glad to see that assigning the calculation values worked for you on the form. The other question related to range is moved to a separate thread and shall be addressed there shortly. Please follow the link below:
