    Form is too slow

Asked by ysmeninternational on April 12, 2017 at 09:24 AM

    Hi team,

After days of trying, I finally came up with the conditional logic I need to make my form work exactly the way I want. I am afraid though it might be too much logic and it's causing the website to lag...

Could this be possible? To build the form, preview the form or change settings, it's so slow that it's basically unusable. Assuming it will be the same for anyone trying to complete it.

    Thanks.

    Hello ysmeninternational,

I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.

I did test your form and I am able to replicate the issue you are having. Editing form is little slow and there are several reasons which is causing this issue:

#1. You have approx 1507 form field in your form.

#2. You have added few conditions to show/hide over 1k form field.

There is a better way to achieve your requirement of show/hide several form fields at once. You should add "Form Collapse" field in form and add condition to show / hide all form field under that form collapse field. You may like to take a look at the following guide which should help you:  https://www.jotform.com/help/297-Show-or-Hide-Multiple-Fields-at-Once-Using-the-Form-Collapse-Tool

Do try it out and see if that solves your problem when you preview your form.

    Thank you!
