I duplicated an existing form and then made changes to titles and texts, options etc.
However, when I checked the emails -Notification and Notifier email tables were still showing the old version of headings and texts. Should these not be automatically changed when I made changes to the original texts ?

You need to create a new notification and autoresponder email so it will be updated. After that, delete the old notification and autoresponder email.
