    Hi JotForm,

I am working on a project of creating an online form for our clients to fill in. There are some information that I would like to know more about before deciding to use JotForm for the project:

    Form Feature:

    1. I understand that JotForm can be inframe into website and can also send out a link to users. However, can we have our own domain name for the form link? (That is the users do not know JotForm is the form provider)?

    2. We would like to have some guideline for the users to fill in the form. I know that I can enter text instruction in JotForm, but can I insert Picture and Videos so when user hover to the question, the picture/ video will appear instead of just text?

    3. Can we have our own branding, own logo on the form?

    4. Is there a login function so that user can fill in the form after logging in?

    5. Is there a resume function so user can resume to fill in the form if they have left in the middle?

    6. Can we customise the notification to users?

    7. Is JotForm mobile friendly?

    8. Which pricing plan can have unlimited fields and unlimited field rules?

    9. Is there a terms and condition field?

    10. Is there a field to show the form progress?

    11. Can the submitted form be export into excel file?

    Security

    1. A

    re the forms encrypted?

    2. Where is the data being stored? I notice it is in the servers in Germany? any other places?

    Thank you.

    Look forward to your reply.

    Cathy

    Hi Cathy,

Thanks for contacting us, and we're always happy to help. I will answer your questions below, however, for future reference, please post your questions in separate threads, unless they are all related to the same issue, as we try to limit the forum to one question for each thread.

    1. I understand that JotForm can be inframe into website and can also send out a link to users. However, can we have our own domain name for the form link? (That is the users do not know JotForm is the form provider)?

Yes, this is possible, you can either customize your own domain in our form link, please follow this detailed guide:

    How-to-use-Custom-Domains-with-Jotform

    2. We would like to have some guideline for the users to fill in the form. I know that I can enter text instruction in JotForm, but can I insert Picture and Videos so when user hover to the question, the picture/ video will appear instead of just text?

This is not possible in Jotform version 4, due to security reason, the hover text option doesn't accept HTML code, however, If you really need to add an image, you can temporarily switch to JotForm version 3, and add the image as an HTML tag in the hover text option. Please refer to this thread for more details:

    3. Can we have our own branding, own logo on the form?

You can add your own images and logo to the form without any issues, you can do that using from our form builder elements.

    4. Is there a login function so that user can fill in the form after logging in?

We don't have any login functionality, but a workaround can be done to achieve the same result as a password protected form, here's a full step by step guide provided by my colleague:

    https://www.jotform.com/answers/852572

    5. Is there a resume function so user can resume to fill in the form if they have left in the middle?

We do indeed have a save and continue later function, and it's fairly easy to achieve, please follow this guide for step by step explanation:

I have moved the rest of the questions to separate threads and will attend them accordingly, please see:
