- aussierescuesocalAsked on July 08, 2012 at 02:50 AM"Cannot read form information. Try reloading the page. You will probably need to use a different browser (such as Firefox). There seems to be a bug with the Internet Explorer version you are using."
I'm not using internet explorer, I am using firefox, I have a mac computer, is that a problem? the completed forms do come to my email address fine.

Can you please try to provide us a screen capture of the error when it happens on your end?
Since I could not reproduce this on my end, it maybe the only means I can observe and assess what happen on your end.
Please follow this guide on how to include screen image on this post. -How-to-insert-embed-a-screen-shot-a-k-a-screen-dump-into-a-post
Please update us.

Hi - thanks for your response :] well, as I said, I have a mac, so the screen shot is no problem at all, I just took one (the error message it shows is exactly what I posted originally) but it's going to take me a little bit to figure out how to embed it in the post as you asked, I'm sorry, being it is for a windows-based computer - I am not very computer savvy, sorry, so it takes me a minute to translate into how to do it with my mac....I did go ahead and upload it to our rescue's own website, and if it helps, here is a link to it: http://aussierescuesocal.com/ScreenShot.png

Thank you for the updated information.
I got the screenshot you provided
I am not sure yet, but base on the system information that registered in the forum, you are using Firefox version 12.0 on your Mac?
Can you try updating your FF to the recent version? The current released version is 13.01.
Please try that, and checked if the situation get better.
Will await your updates.
- aussierescuesocalAnswered on July 08, 2012 at 06:57 PM
Yes, you are correct - I do have firefox 12.0 - I have to get back to work, but I will get the updated version later tonight and let you know if that helps - thank you!!!
- JotForm SupportjonathanAnswered on July 08, 2012 at 07:07 PM
OK. Will wait for your updates.

I downloaded the newest firefox version, but unfortuantely that didn't help...still getting the same error message when I try and access the submitted forms via my jotform account :/ Also was having problems making changes to the form I have been working on....it would make the changes in the template but when I would check it online, it kept coming up the older version...have not tried checking it yet with the newer firefox browser, will do that next. Any other suggestions I can try to be able to view the sumbitted forms in my jotform account?
- JotForm SupportjonathanAnswered on July 09, 2012 at 05:49 PM
The only other option I can suggest for now is to try another browser type.
Will you be able to try using Chrome or IE browser?
I am checking further if I can reproduce the issue in FF similar to what you encountered.
- JotForm SupportliyamAnswered on July 09, 2012 at 05:55 PM
In addition to jonathan's suggestion, have you tried clearing your browser's cache? If not yet, please do and let us know if it works.
I also have submitted the ticket to the development team regarding your case. Once we have updates from them, we'll let you know right away.
- aussierescuesocalAnswered on July 09, 2012 at 09:36 PM
I've tried Safari with the same results :[ I don't have Chrome or IE installed (and would rather not, sorry), and yup, I did try clearing the cache on FF with no difference - still get that same error message...many thanks to you both for trying to help me with this!
- JotForm SupportliyamAnswered on July 09, 2012 at 10:31 PM
Thank you for your response, k.
We'll let the development team handle this matter from here.
Thank you for your patience and we apologize for your inconvenience.

I am not sure if I should submit a new question form or not, but if this is okay - I seem to have lost the first form i did :/ It does show up on line, so it isn't completely gone - I posted it both ways, learning how to use jotform - the form number is 21887697556172 and here are the 2 links where it can be found on my website: http://aussierescuesocal.com/fosterhome_application2.html and http://aussierescuesocal.com/foster_home_application.html -- there are slight differences, as I said I was experimenting :] but they are the same basic form....buuuttt, it is no longer in *my forms* - I've been looking all day, trying different things, even tried importing it (both urls, MANY TIMES :/ ) - it either refused to import it or it came up blank...is there anything I or you can do to get it back in the list of *my forms* in my jotform account?
- JotForm SupportidarktechAnswered on July 10, 2012 at 01:21 AM
I can see them fine on your account. You only had two forms. Have you check it under "All" tab? or maybe in your trash folder?
Also, please try to logout from your account, clear your browers cache and then log back in. It should be there.
- aussierescuesocalAnswered on July 10, 2012 at 01:54 AM
I'm sorry, I should have been more clear - the 2 I have now are the same ones, Adoption Application(s) - one is a clone of the other I made when I realized the one that I lost was gone - a safety :] the one I lost is titled Foster Application - I did a search with the form number (21887697556172) and came up with nothing.....and yup, clicked on ALL tab as well as checked the trash (those are all attempts at trying to find it or import it from my website) --- and yup, I did just now log out and log back in, with the cache emptied, and stil the only two showing are the Adoption Applications, no Foster Application :/ I'm guessing there isn't any way of importing it back in then?
- JotForm SupportliyamAnswered on July 10, 2012 at 01:59 AM
When I search your form ID, it appears to be in your account. The title of the form is "Adoption Application". Is it possible that you have renamed it from Foster to Adoption and forgot? It currently has 14 submissions.
- karylAnswered on July 10, 2012 at 02:09 AM
:/ yikes! with me, anything is possible....I wonder why when I did the search via the form # it came up with nothing...anywho, in this case, if you open both of them, you will see they are both titled Adoption Application inside as well....the one I am missing is titled Foster Application inside as well....it is entirely possibly I accidently made the new form over top of the old one and didn't even realize what I was doing :[ (the 14 submissions are the ones I was submitting, trying to get the form to come up to be viewed in my account - they are just junk).... is it possible to import the Foster Application in from where I posted it on my website? So far, every time I've tried, it either tells me it cannot be done, or it imports something, I don't know what, and it comes up blank....
- JotForm SupportliyamAnswered on July 10, 2012 at 02:29 AM
Thanks for the response, k.
Can you check your trash tab and see if it happens to be one of the folders forms you deleted? You can try restoring the form by clicking the form and then clicking the restore button (see sample screenshot):
If you have the form existing in a webpage, can you share with us the URL of the page so we can search for the ID?
- aussierescuesocalAnswered on July 10, 2012 at 09:50 AM
oy, there must be something this website doesn't like about my computer - I just did a reply, clicked to post it, and got the window opening that asked for me to log it - I am already logged in - but I typed in my password again anyway, and it proceeded to loose my response I had just typed up....
again, yes, I have checked the forms in the trash, it is none of those unfortunately
and here are the URLs again where this form is on my website: http://aussierescuesocal.com/fosterhome_application2.html and http://aussierescuesocal.com/foster_home_application.html
-- they are slightly different because I had been using them to experiment on how to post the forms to our website, but they are the same basic form --- that is where I got the form number, is from the source coding in those 2 pages.
- aussierescuesocalAnswered on July 10, 2012 at 10:14 AM
sorry for being so persistent about this lost form, with that specific formID number - I keep wondering if the reason I am unable to read the submissions in my jotform account is because that form itself is no longer there ... is that possible?
- JotForm SupportliyamAnswered on July 10, 2012 at 12:57 PM
I checked the form ID and there's no mistake, the form that you're looking for is the Adoption Application form. What makes it slightly different is because you have embedded the actual HTML source to the HTML file. With this setup, any change you make on your form builder will not update on the HTML files
- aussierescuesocalAnswered on July 10, 2012 at 01:52 PM
ok, I see what you are saying, the ID # is the same on that form as the foster applications I have on line! if you actually open up and look at the form labeled Adoption Application and read thru the questions and then go to either of the links I provided for Foster Application(s), the ID#s may be the same somehow in the source code, but the questions (and even the sub-heading) on the form are not the same....not sure how that happened, sorry, but I don't think there is anything I can do about it unfortunately, without having to do one or both of the forms all over again - perhaps I am right, that is why I cannot view the submissions on the jotform website with 2 different forms having the same ID #.
Oh well, I appreciate all the time you have spent trying to figure this out!!
- JotForm SupportjonathanAnswered on July 10, 2012 at 10:10 PM
I'll try to catch up on the thread since it was way too long already...
Base on your latest reply:
Tracking the form by reading the source code of the URL you provided, there is actually one and the same form only. The form with ID# 21887697556172 was used on both foster_home html pages.
Just to explain, -- when using form's source code when embedding the form to a website html page, the look and feel and functionality of the form will only reflect the latest state it was extracted for embedding.
If you made changes on the form during design mode in form builder and save it. The latest saved changes on the form will not reflect on the already deployed/embedded form in the website.
You will have to copy again the source code embed of the form and deploy or overwrite the existing source code in the website.
In your last reply, I checked the 2 different URL(foster home html pages) you provided. And I can see that the embedded form is the same and one only. The form ID# will prove this.
The look on 2 pages are different because, at the time it was embedded, the forms are edited/updated already at different intances.
I hope I was able to help explain the details when using the source code embed method of JotForm.

Thanks Jonathan :] As you said, it was a longgg thread, and did get a bit confusing and off track - but that's okay, I've gone another route instead :] it just got too much trying to figure out how to get the foster application back into *my forms* in my jotform account.
thanks for trying to help tho!
