Can I create a form that sends an alert to receive approval?

    Hi,

I'm wanting to check on a specific capability. We are wanting to create a registration form that is submitted to a person of leadership before it's approved to send to it's final destination. Essentially, a person would register, their form would be sent to an authority figure for approval and then sent to our registration office. Is this a possibility through Jotform?

    Thanks!

Yes, it's indeed possible through conditions, here's what you can do to implement your workflow.

First, you will need to add both email notifications to your form, this guide will help you to add them: https://www.jotform.com/help/25-Setting-Up-Email-Notifications

Once you have added them you will need to leave the first (the one that will be sent to the reviewer) without any modification.

Assuming that you have a field that is filled with the approval, you could set a condition based on this field, in case you would have a radio button with yes and no options, then if the answer is yes you trigger the second email notifying your office email about the approval.

This second email will be sent only if the related field is filled with the correct answer, otherwise the email will not be triggered.

To get more details about how this can be done, please check the following guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/167-How-to-Send-Email-Based-on-User-s-Answer
