Only paid accounts can remove the JotForm branding. You can disable it in the Account Settings page. Here's the link: https://www.jotform.com/myaccount/settings

@capstack,
This was a change made on June 1st, 2016. On that date the JotForm branding was added and an upgrade is required in order to remove it, as explained by my colleague above.
