Email notifications: Ability to disable/pause the emails on the form

    Hi There,

Sometimes we create more complex emails in JotForm and are testing which ones work best. We'd like to be able to keep them in the form, attached to it, but temporarily turn them off so we easily turn them on later. We'd like to do this without having to clone and recreate the entire form just to test different thank you emails.

Is this possible? Or can we request this as a future feature?

    Thanks,

    - Andrew

Unfortunately, it is not possible to disable the email notifications/autoresponders directly on the form at the moment. However, you may consider setting up a condition on the form whether to send a notification on the form.

But, you may be required to add a field to the form and hide it in order not to display the field to the user. A checkbox (multiple choice) field might work well when you have several emails to check.

Alternatively, you may also change the email recipient address on the form so that the email notification will not be sent to the actual recipient.

Also, I am sending this thread to our backend team to evaluate the feature. Though, I cannot provide you any ETA at the moment, if there is any news in this regard, we'll update you here.

    Thanks!

Thank you Kiran, the work arounds you mentioned are interesting but I don't feel they would be a good fit for us. We would love to see a simple on/off or play/pause be added to emails in Jotform.
