Why are we getting random irrelevant submissions on our form?

We are getting dozens of random submissions on a JotForm embedded on our homepage. All of the submissions have random alphanumeric strings in the email field. The form on our website uses validation that prevents submissions like this, so they must be coming from another source.

Any idea what's going on here?

In light of the explanation that you kindly provided, and my examination of the embedded form, I would suggest two things:

    1. Adding the Google reCaptcha widget, for security reasons, in order to eliminate similar spam attempts in the future: https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/google_recaptcha

    2. Adding the Get Form Page URL widget, in order to know where would any future similar submissions come from: https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/get_form_page_url

I hope this helps. If you need further assistance please let us know. Thank you.
