Is there an upper limit on the number of videos being uploaded?

Asked by ianunilad on April 25, 2017 at 11:10 AM

Our website currently receives a large number of video submissions (using a different form).  I would like to use JotForm to manage the form and the submissions.  Is there an upper limit on the bandwidth for uploading files?  I'd like to set the max size of video posted to 500mb, but we could receive 5gb (this is high end) of video submissions a day.

There is a maximum file upload size per submission.  Here is our quick guide detailing how to increase the limit as well as the maximum file sizes for different integrations:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/33-Changing-the-Upload-Size-Limit

You can also change the allowed file types:

There is no bandwidth limit on file transfers, only the total size of stored files.  Deleting submissions that have files attached will clear more space in your account.

    Hello David,

It appears as though the files are stored on your server:

Is there a limit to the total size of files stored on your server?

    Thanks

Yes, files are stored on our servers and there are limits for each account level.  Those limits can be found in our pricing page:

There is no bandwidth limit on file transfers, only the total size of stored files.  Deleting submissions that have files attached will clear more space in your account.

Your main account is a Gold account which allows for up to 1TB of storage which is 1000GB.  It is currently only using about 35GB.

    Last question,
How do you clear files off the server? Do you have to delete the entries?
    Thanks

Yes, to clear storage space requires deleting the submission that the file was uploaded with.
